Tree Tone's resonators don't have to be driven by its built-in Noise or Rain exciters. This bit shows how to route external audio into the device using the Mic input selector, using a drum loop as the trigger source.
With a Drum Rack as the input, you can get granular about which element drives the resonators. The presenter narrows it down to just the clap, showing how the insertion point setting lets you isolate individual drum hits rather than feeding in the full mix. Input volume is adjustable from the same panel before returning to the default Post Mixer routing.
