Ableton Live 12.2 adds Bounce to New Track, a shortcut that renders a selected MIDI or audio region straight to a new audio clip without any extra routing steps. This clip highlights the feature on a chord progression, selecting the region, right-clicking, and instantly getting a printed audio version on its own track.
Once the chords are bounced to audio, hitting R reverses the new clip, turning a straightforward progression into an instant reversed fill or transition. It is a fast way to generate ear candy from material you already have, without bouncing manually through freeze and flatten or export workflows.
