MusicTechHelpGuy breaks down a faster way to switch edit tools in Logic Pro: press T to pop up the tool menu right at your mouse, no need to reach for the toolbar.
Hold command while picking a tool from that menu to reassign your command-click tool on the fly, without digging through preferences.
Each tool also has its own letter shortcut, so T then P grabs the Pencil, T then X the Flex tool, T then I the Scissors, and so on. Pressing T twice snaps you straight back to the Pointer tool.
