This Ableton Live tip shows a faster way to swap comped takes without ever opening the Take Lanes view. Select the part of your comp you want to change, hold Cmd on Mac or Ctrl on PC, then hit the Up or Down arrow keys to cycle through the alternate takes recorded for that section.
It is a small workflow shortcut, but it keeps you working in the main timeline instead of digging through lanes every time you second-guess a vocal phrase or guitar fill. Useful once you already have multiple takes recorded and want to keep refining your comp without breaking focus.
