Thavius Beck demonstrates the Spray Can tool, new in Bitwig 6, as a faster alternative to clicking in individual notes when building repetitive patterns like 16th-note hi-hats.
Clicking and holding while dragging up or down lets you paint a run of notes and adjust their velocity in the same gesture. The tool also locks note entry to the lane where you started, so you won't accidentally drop notes into the wrong pitch row mid-drag.
