Bitwig's Onsets expression automatically detects volume spikes across an audio waveform, making it easy to identify transient hits in rhythmic material. Missing onsets can be added manually with a double-click, then nudged into place with Shift for precise positioning.
Once the onset markers are set, the Slice in Place command dices the audio at those points, giving you individual slices to erase, reorder, duplicate, or move around freely. It's a clean workflow for any kind of micro-editing on drums, loops, or other rhythmic content.
