This short Ableton tutorial covers the final step in a broader MPE Control walkthrough: setting up and using polyphonic aftertouch on Push. With Pressure mode set to Poly in Push's setup menu, each pad responds independently to touch pressure, so individual notes within a chord can carry their own expressive variation.
The MPE Control device lets you shape the pressure curve to dial in how sensitive the pads feel under your fingers. After recording, per-note pressure data can be reviewed and edited in the Pressure Lane of the Note Expression View.
