MusicTechHelpGuy shows how to fade out an entire song in Logic Pro using a master VCA track instead of automating every individual track.
Create a track for the master fader, then draw automation from full volume down to negative infinity wherever the fade should start and end. The automation curve tool can shape that fade into an exponential taper instead of a flat linear drop, which sounds more natural to the ear.
He also covers cleanup: deleting automation on a single track versus wiping all track automation from a project at once, useful when inheriting a client or collaborator's session full of pre-existing automation.
One catch worth knowing: the delete all track automation function only clears track automation, not region automation, so region-based moves still need to be removed track by track.
