This short Ableton Live tip from the Learn Live series demonstrates what happens when a clip's stop button is enabled during a scene change, and how to fix it. If a clip cuts out unexpectedly when you switch scenes, the culprit is likely a stop button sitting underneath that clip in the Session View grid.
Right-clicking the stop button and selecting Remove Stop Button lets the clip keep playing continuously as you move between scenes.
