SEIDS walks through Logic Pro's Chord Track, building progressions manually instead of relying on the Session Player. Click the plus button to create a chord, then set the root note, tonality, and an optional bass note, with instant preview before committing.
Control-click any chord to build out a full progression, then double-click individual chords to swap them for something more interesting, like adding tension for a funkier feel.
Group or ungroup chords, adjust chord rhythm to control how often chords change (like one per two bars), and duplicate chords to fill out a section fast.
Once the progression feels right, drag it straight into a track to convert it into editable MIDI. A quick trick for tightening the feel: nudge a chord's start slightly earlier so it doesn't cut into the middle of a sound.
