Bitwig Studio's per-voice modulation lets each simultaneously played note receive its own independent modulation signal, rather than sharing one across the whole chord. Enabling it is a single right-click on any modulator, and the routing button turns green to confirm the mode is active.
In practice, this means panning, wavetable position, or filter movement can evolve differently for every voice at once. One note scans through a wavetable while another holds still; each voice completes its own filter sweep on its own timeline. The result is a polyphonic texture that sounds genuinely alive rather than layered copies of the same movement.
