Flatten or unfreeze: committing vs. reverting a frozen track

In Ableton Live, Flatten commits a frozen track to a new audio clip, making the rendered audio permanent. When flattening a frozen loop, Live renders two cycles rather than one to capture any evolving effects like reverb or delay tails. Unfreeze takes the track back to its original state, with all devices and MIDI intact, when further edits are needed.
