Once you've recorded clip automation in Ableton Live, this short walkthrough shows where to find it and how to clean it up. Head to the Clip View, click the Envelope icon, then use the device chooser to pull up any device loaded on the track.
Parameters with recorded automation show a red dot next to them, so you can quickly scan a device for what's actually been touched. If a track has a lot of devices, switch on Only Show Adjusted Envelopes to filter the list down to just the parameters carrying automation, skipping the noise of everything else.
Made an automation move you don't want anymore, like an accidental filter sweep or volume dip. Right-click the envelope and hit Clear Envelope to wipe it out and start that parameter fresh, no need to manually draw over it or undo a chain of edits.</description>
