Change your song's key without re-pitching every track

MusicTechHelpGuy shows how Logic Pro 11's Pitch Source setting turns key changes into a one-click job for a full arrangement.

Set a region's pitch source to key signature and it will automatically transpose whenever the project key changes. Turn it off for drums and other non-tonal tracks so they stay put.

With bass, synths, and plucks all following the key signature, shifting from E minor to G minor (or down to D minor for a singer's range) moves every tonal part at once, chords included.

Useful when a collaborator needs the song in a different key and you don't want to manually re-pitch each track.
