Ocean walks through Logic Pro's layout, giving you a mental map before you touch a single track. The workspace in the middle is your canvas, where every audio and MIDI region gets arranged left to right, one sound per track.
Each track routes to its own mixer channel in the inspector, which sits just left of the workspace. That's where instruments and effects get loaded, and the master channel on the far right controls the entire mix.
The library holds Logic's free stock instruments and sounds, while the browser on the right side pulls in your own samples and folders. Ocean also points to the notepad for lyrics and quick notes.
A few shortcuts worth knowing: K toggles the metronome, E opens the piano roll for editing MIDI, X brings up the full mixer view, and I reveals the inspector. Hovering over any transport button shows its shortcut, a fast way to build muscle memory early on.
